Interestingly, back in May 2017, the Russos posted this image on Instagram, clearly showing the fact that Thor's now-destroyed Mjolnir was on set at some point and involved in shooting...

How could this be the case, given the events of Thor: Ragnarok?

The scenes in question were shot in Durham cathedral, whose interiors were mostly very well-guarded, aside from a few revelations from local journalists' visits to the set. Intriguingly, one report included a picture of a statue that looked almost Asgardian...

That definitely looks a little like Odin, but it doesn't mean it's on Asgard. Remember, Odin was the ruler of more than one realm, and we know Thor is travelling to another of them in Infinity War.

Could this be a flashback set on Nidavellir showing why Thor goes to the realm of the dwarves when he and Rocket and Groot get there? That would certainly explain the presence of the fairly crude Rocket puppet that was on set there...
