5. Vision Becomes Human

You don't even have to listen all that intently to hear the clanging chimes of doom for Vision. He is rather unfortunately lumbered with having an Infinity Stone in his face, which is key to him being alive, and for Thanos to get up to the threat level the story needs, that head is going to have to come off.

But there's an intriguing alternative to him just being killed off. What if Thanos realises that he can't just take the Stone, and is forced to reason with Vision to hand it over himself? And what if he uses his relationship with Scarlet Witch as his means to convince the android?

There has already been a set leak that suggests that Vision appears in human form at one point, in a clinch with Wanda that reeks of suburban normalcy. This could be a projection of Scarlet Witch's ideal future (or Vision's), but equally, it could also be what Thanos promises Vision as payment for handing over the Stone. His arc would suit that sort of Pinocchio pay-off...
