8. Which Other Villains Will Appear?

Along with the possibility of MODOK turning up, it is believed that Thanos won't just be working alone during Infinity War, and that goes beyond the recently confirmed Black Order and Outriders.

One of the more enticing theories about Infinity War is that we'll see the villains who fell to them - Red Skull, Ronan, and Ultron - revived by Thanos to combat the Avengers. It's an alluring thought, especially with Red Skull long-expected to return, and would be a great way of ramping up the threat against the heroes (though Thanos should have that covered anyway).

The other villainous theory is that we'll see Cate Blanchett in action once more as Hela, following on from her debut in Thor: Ragnarok. With Thor floating through space in Infinity War, the suggestion is that he loses in Ragnarok. So could Thanos then court a victorious Hela? She is the Goddess of Death after all, and in the Infinity storyline he courts Death herself. Introducing actual Death could perhaps be seen as muddying the waters unnecessarily, so that could instead go to Hela, and gives them a chance to make more of what looks like a great performance from Blanchett.
