2. Ebony Maw Tortures Doctor Strange

Though Thanos' sidekick Ebony Maw doesn't have the brute strength or combat skills of the other members of the Black Order but he has something else in his armoury that is arguably more terrifying: psychological warfare. Like Scarlet Witch in Age Of Ultron, he can turn an enemy's mind against them, and that's precisely what he does against Doctor Strange in the trailer.

The shot of Strange being tortured by what appears to be shards of glass is the manifestation of that power, and worryingly, it parallels a famous moment in Jonathan Hickman's Infinity comic book in which Ebony Maw tortures Strange to find the location of the Infinity Stones and he ends up turning the Sorceror Supreme against the Avengers.

Could this mean we'll see him turn on his team-mates? It would certainly be an interesting direction to take.
