2. Why Do Inanimate Objects Disappear (But Not Groot's Handle?)

When Thanos clicks and the heroes all start disappearing, how come some inanimate objects disappear- like Bucky's Vibranum arm and Falcon's entire wing suit - and some don't like Bucky's gun? If the rules of Falcon's suit transferred across properly, the cars that the victims in New York were inside should have disappeared.

Obviously, there will be a suggestion that they had to disappear inanimate objects or everyone would have been vanished out of existence naked, but there should have been SOME grey areas.

And what about Stormbreaker's handle, which Groot donates to Thor on Nidavellir - shouldn't that have vanished when Groot did? Because otherwise someone could just replant it (or part of it) and grow a new Groot again.
