Movies as big as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame go through some big changes before, during, and after shooting. However, the really interesting part of production is arguably when filmmakers like the Russo Brothers are batting around ideas, and they've now revealed some of them.

According to the writers, an earlier draft of Infinity War's script saw Iron Man travelling to Asgard alongside Thor to retrieve the Space and Reality Stones. Decked out in invisible stealth armour (which debuted in the pages of Iron Man #152 in 1981), Tony was set to fight Heimdall. However, McFeely would point out that it was scrapped because Iron Man had no emotional connection to the Asgardian.

Another scrapped mission saw Nebula and War Machine still head to Morag, albeit to discover that the planet was still underwater at this point (long before Star-Lord arrived there). As a result, the unlikely allies were going to battle a massive sea-monster, but it again lacked that necessary emotion.

These would have been cool to see on screen, but it's hard to complain too much as what we got was still pretty spectacular. An invisible Iron Man armour, though? Talk about badass...
