30. Mantis

Because of the focus on heavier combat action, it was inevitable that Mantis would take something of a backseat. She's no warrior, even though her powers are extremely useful, as the Titan sequence proved.

That's her stand-out moment and other than Thanos turning her into ribbons and her playing a part in Drax's invisible joke, she doesn't really have much else to do. While the rest of the Guardians are the best group (along with Thor), she's the least successful.

29. Bucky Barnes (White Wolf)

Seeing Bucky healed in Wakanda and given a new Vibranium arm is a great thing and he gets a nice little moment when him and Rocket team up for a spinning assault on the Outrider army, but the newly christened White Wolf is a supporting figure more than anything.

It shouldn't really come as too much of a surprise, though, since Bucky's Winter Soldier arc is now over and while Sebastian Stan could have gone on to take over from Chris Evans as Cap, it also wouldn't have been all that surprising if the Russos had chosen to kill him off for dramatic impact.

He does get to dissolve first when Thanos clicks, but if you're looing for a full-on Bucky revival, you'll be disappointed.
