Avengers: Infinity War - Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

28. Corvus Glaive

The Black Order is mostly great and surprisingly successful as a threat against the Avengers but they aren't all quite equal in ranking. Perhaps it's partly because his effects work is one of the few questionable bits in an otherwise incredibly impressive showcase of effects, but Corvus Glaive is the least notable of the villainous foursome.

Though he can talk, he doesn't a great deal and he tends to be a bit of a whipping boy when he fights Avengers and he's the one who feels the least like he's an actually developed character with a specifically defined role in the group.

27. Groot

As part and parcel of him being in his disaffected youth phase, Groot spends most of the movie in the background playing his Defender hand-held game and ignoring his responsibilities as a hero.

Eventually, he's inspired to join in when he sees Thor almost sacrificing himself on Nidavellir to get the space forge lit, but that might have worked slightly more successfully if they'd pressed a little harder on the idea of him fanboying at Thor. Still, he's pretty good in the battle sequence when he, Thor and Rocket make their grand entrance.
