Avengers: Infinity War - Every Major Character's Best Moment

20. Black Panther: "This Is No Place To Die"

Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) gets surprisingly little to do during Infinity War, all the more unexpected considering he's presumably not going to have a huge part in Avengers 4 either.

However, his death at the hands of an Infinity Gauntlet-clad Thanos was at least one of the movie's most haunting yet weirdly dignified moments. Perhaps because T'Challa is aware of the ancestral plane and death not being the end, he simply tells Okoye, "Come Okoye, this is no place to die", mere seconds before turning to dust in front of her very eyes.

True to T'Challa's typically cool, calm and collected persona, he stared death in the face and took it like a champ. It's a shame he didn't have more memorable action beats throughout Infinity War, but hopefully he'll get a strong showing pending his inevitable resurrection in Avengers 4's third act.
