18. Black Widow Is Reunited With Bruce

Black Widow is another mainline Avenger who gets surprisingly little to do throughout the film, and considering how little she features in Wakanda's third-act battle, her best scene ends up being a quieter, more dramatic one from earlier on.

After Widow, Captain America (Chris Evans) and co. are reunited with Rhodey (Don Cheadle), Bruce also shows up, announcing his return after being away from Earth for so long.

There's a nice, brief shared moment as Bruce and Natasha stare at one another with longing and recognition, but the Russos smartly don't devote a whole scene to the exchange nor go full Joss Whedon and double down on the romance. It's agreeably minimal while still accepting the bond these two characters have. Perfect.
