Directing duo Anthony and Joe Russo will return to the MCU for a third time to helm Avengers: Infinity War, after directing Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War.

Given that the latter was absolutely stuffed with many of the characters that will pop up in Infinity War (Civil War was even referred to as "Avengers 2.5" by many fans), there can be no questions as to whether or not the brothers are up to the monumental task ahead of them.

The duo have spoken candidly about the project in recent months, with Anthony mentioning to The Independent that the next two Avengers films are "a culmination of everything that's happened in the MCU", and that the movies are going to be "the end of some things".

The MCU may look very different in a year's time, and it's clear the brothers are approaching Infinity War with a sense of finality in mind.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
