3. Adam Warlock's A Big Part Of It

The Collector's stash of cosmic junk was a treasure trove for geeky Easter eggs in Guardians Of The Galaxy, with shout outs to everything from fan-favourite character Howard The Duck to talking Russian space dog Cosmo. Most intriguing for the hardcore faithful, however, was a slimy-looking cocoon that was barely glimpsed in the background - a cocoon which might just hold the recovering form of Adam Warlock, arguably the most important member of Marvel's roster of cosmic super heroes. He just so happens to play a big part in the Infinity War, too. Who'd've thunk it? The Fantastic Four are the biggest part of the superhero struggle against the destruction of reality on Earth, but Warlock leads the front line up amongst the stars. In fact the guys who's threatening to tear the universe asunder using the Infinity Stones is Magus, the evil time-travelling alter ego of Adam Warlock, and so he feels a bit of responsibility in taking care of him. Plus the reason Magus got recreated is cos Warlock found the Stones and was gonna try and do something good with it. He done goofed big time.
