Avengers: Infinity War - Predicting All 76 Characters

34. Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo)

Hulk Thor Ragnarok
Marvel Studios

Status: Confirmed

As he's on Thor's ship, Hulk will meet Thanos early on in Infinity War, and judging by the fact that he seems to end up thrown back to Earth (and directly into Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum), it would seem that Thanos attempts to put him out of the picture straight away. That is unless he's taken captive and used to pass on Thanos' message to Strange about wanting the Time Stone and the ship that comes to New York is a herald ship sent for that purpose?

Anyway, he's apparently got an interesting arc in the movie and its sequel - according to Mark Ruffalo - and we're boudnd to see more of him wrestling with his twin personalities once more. And rather delightfully, it's already been teased that he's going to team up with Rocket Raccoon for a new special bro team.

33. Vision (Paul Bettany)

Vision Scarlet Witch Infinity War
Marvel Studios

Status: Confirmed

Of all the newer Avengers, Vision has pretty much the most important role, since he's a walking, talking Infinity Stone. He's still an Avengers, despite almost killing one of his own team in Captain America: Civil War (needs must when there aren't enough options) and he's set to come forehead to face with the Black Order as they try to pluck his magic Stone out of his head.

What remains to be seen is whether he'd survive that in some form, since there's a hint that the good guys might actually seek a way to remove it themselves.

32. Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen)

Avengers Infinity War Scarlet Witch
Marvel Studios

Status: Confirmed

Assuming Vision ends up imprisoned by the Black Order (whose attempts to remove the Mind Stone prove less than fruitful initially), his new girlfriend Scarlet Witch is going to be pushed further into the spiral she has already taken strides towards with the death of Quicksilver and her accidental mass murder in Africa.

Could she unravel entirely and cause a break from reality with her powers leading into Avengers 4? That would be an interesting way of channeling her most famous arc - House Of M (which really deserves a more focused adaptation).

31. Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie)

Marvel Studios

Status: Confirmed

The other more minor Avengers member, Falcon, is seen only briefly in the Infinity War trailer, but it seems he too will end up in Wakanda with Cap (it's not surprising that he'd be by his buddy's side after they were both forced underground).

Expect him to provide aerial support along with War Machine during the Wakandan battle sequences and to fire off the same sort of witty remarks as he does. Something more interesting would be welcome, but that's pretty much the role he has.
