Avengers: Infinity War - Predicting All 76 Characters

25. Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd)

Status: Confirmed

Though he's underground, it seems that Ant-Man will once more be drawn into the action, despite the fact that he's living on the other side of the country to the rest of the Avengers.

Could it be that his knowledge of the Quantum Realm draws him back into the action?

Hopefully, we're going to see more of him as Giant Man, but the super-miniaturising power he has probably fits more with the attempt to beat Thanos in unconventional ways. The fact that he was absent from the trailer is no help in establishing what he might be up to.

24. Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lily)

Status: Unconfirmed

Though we've been primed to not expect an appearance by Wasp in Infinity War, it wouldn't make sense for Ant-Man to simply appear out of nowhere in Infinity War and then wave goodbye to everyone to go and do his own thing in Ant-Man & The Wasp before Avengers 4.

More likely is him hiding with Hope Van Dyne and Pym and being called to action, which would require even a cameo from Evangeline Lily. And hopefully we'll see how he comes back by the end of the movie to explain the break for the second Ant-Man stand-alone, because how those pieces fit together right now is a little confusing.

23. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas)

Status: Unconfirmed

If Hope Van Dyne appears, so too will her father and for exactly the same reasons. Ant-Man just appearing as a lone hero out of nowhere makes absolutely no sense.

Pym could also appear in the 1960s flashback scene that is expected too, even if the modern, older version doesn't appear.
