Avengers: Infinity War - Predicting The Fate Of Every Avenger

10. Hulk

Bruce Banner's journey has been one of the weirdest and most unpredictable in the MCU, so it's quite hard to say where he'll be once Infinity War starts.

He's gone from being a doctor in an Indian slum to fighting in a gladiatorial contest on the planet Sakaar in Thor: Ragnarok, so at the very least, we can assume he'll be in space once the latter movie ends.

But what about Infinity War? Hulk might be the strongest, most powerful character on this list, so he'll certainly prove useful, and the fact that he'll be in space already could mean he'll be one of the first to encounter Thanos when the film begins.

What Will Happen To Him? As shown in the Thor: Ragnarok trailers, Banner is beginning to embrace the Hulk more and more. Once upon a time, he was reluctant to 'get angry', but now he appears to relish the opportunity.

The 'Hulk being mind-controlled and turning on his allies' (or just turning on his allies) play has been used multiple times in the MCU so we don't think that will happen again, but what we do think will happen is that Bruce, in his human form, will get less and less screen time as the Infinity War progresses.

Infinity War is the culmination of everything the MCU has done up to this point. And what's been the Hulk's main conflict, in every movie? The struggle between his calm side and his angry side.

This struggle will come to a head in Infinity War; Bruce will realise that the world needs the Hulk and that he shouldn't fear his powers, and he'll become Hulk permanently - at least until Thanos is defeated - in order to fully combat the threat posed to Earth.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
