Avengers: Infinity War - Predicting The Fate Of Every Avenger

13. Star-Lord

Star Lord
Marvel Studios

For Peter Quill to meet and interact with other people from Earth will be one of the most important events of his life, post childhood abduction.

He hails from Earth, so he'll be more invested in its survival than any of the other Guardians, and this should give us a Quill that's more driven than we've ever seen him before.

And let's not forget, he can kick some serious ass in a fight; he single-handedly took care of a band of mercenaries in the opening scene of the first Guardians, and this, along with his futuristic technology, will make him a valuable asset in the war.

What Will Happen To Him? There's no way Marvel will kill off Star-Lord, or any of the Guardians for that matter, since the third movie has already been informally announced.

His story in Infinity War will be a straightforward one; he'll show up, drop some quips, and fight the good fight. Don't expect him to change, or have a huge emotional arc - he just went through all that in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, and the character now feels as complete as he can be.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for over ten years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
