13. The End Is Near

"The end is near," Thanos snarls, as we get some really ominous music and foreboding shots of characters like Groot, Rocket, and Doctor Strange.

The trailer is really driving home the idea that, unlike with previous Marvel movies, there are huge stakes here, that the threat is incredibly real, and that some stories will be coming to an end.

As witnessed in Ragnarok, Thor is once again going full God of Thunder in the movie, and damn I'm not sure it'll ever stop looking ridiculously cool.

We know that Thor goes on a mission with Groot and Rocket to learn more about Thanos, but also to get Thor a new weapon. We can't see any glimpse of Stormbreaker here, so perhaps it's been edited out to avoid spoilers, or this is before he gets his hands on it. This, however, would be an epic way of having him showcase his new weapon's strength, and the chains and sparks mean it does look like the kind of place such a thing could be forged.
