Avengers: Infinity War Vs Avengers: Endgame - Which Is Better?

Both movies are undeniable visual effects spectacles, making the most of their colossal budgets to give audiences a show like can't be seen anywhere else.

Infinity War is a visually dynamic film which ventures from leafy New York to the eerie pallor of Vormir to the barren wasteland that is Titan and also Wakanda. The vast majority of its locales feel extremely fresh.

Endgame inherently feels a bit less imaginative stylistically because it's re-visiting many locations we've seen before, even though it certainly makes great use of them.

It's also fair to say that the final battle could've taken place at a slightly more interesting location than a murky digital battlefield (compared to Titan, which actually felt like a tactile place).

WINNER: Both movies look grand so there's no real loser here, but Infinity War pops far more throughout its run-time, if it also has the obvious advantage of coming first. Endgame's CGI meanwhile feels a little less precise, especially in the more cluttered final battle.
