Avengers: Infinity War - Will First Footage Debut This Week?
Could D23 bring a first look?
Good news, impatient MCU fans: we might be about to see the first footage of Avengers: Infinity War thanks to Disney's annual D23 convention.
The super studio are apparently set to double down on Spider-Man: Homecoming's initial successes to debut new details for the mega-ensemble at the event next weekend before doing something similarly big at San Diego Comic Con the week after.
According to MCU News & Tweets Disney will “unveil never-before-seen details” for Infinity War at D23 as part of the mammoth 90 minute panel we already know is planned.
Kevin Feige has already said we won't see a first full trailer for Infinity War until later in the year (and conventional wisdom says it'll come with Thor: Ragnarok), but that doesn't mean footage won't be on show. And if it is, expect it to leak pretty swiftly afterwards.
The question is whether we'll see the same footage at both events (and if non-attendees will even get to see anything anyway), but it seems somewhat unlikely Disney would disrespect SDCC by doing that.
