Avengers: Age Of Ultron Ending - 10 Major Repercussions For The MCU

7. Vibranium Is Loose In The Wild

Klau and Wakanda's introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe came hand-in-hand with the reintroduction of vibranium. The impossibly strong metal was previously mentioned in Captain America: The First Avenger, as the fictional substance used to make Cap's shield. It also introduced the idea that the metal was incredibly rare and mostly impossible to get your hands on...unless you can get to Wakanda. In Age Of Ultron, meanwhile, it turns out there's actually a lot of vibranium to go around. So long as you're willing to part with a lot of money and maybe bear a horrible scar on you neck for the rest of your life. Klau's stash of the metal is nabbed by Ultron, with the intent of using it to make himself stronger and make a portion of Sokovia float in the air. Considering how both that plan and Ultron himself wound up at the end of the film, there's presumably a lot of scrap vibranium out there. SHIELD no doubt scraped up a fair bit of it, but some might have ended up in more unscrupulous hands, as they did in Klau's. Either's a big thing for the MCU: either the good guys have indestructible metal at their disposal, or there's some powerful new villains on the horizon.
