Prediction: Notes on Blindness

This is always an interesting category that's typically quite difficult to predict and often just feels like a roll of the dice.

Notes on Blindness and Under the Shadow in particular both have effusively strong reviews in this group, but Under the Shadow has the baggage of being a horror movie (never an awards-friendly genre), and Blindness' audacious construction gives it a sure leg-up.

Should It Win?: Absolutely. Under the Shadow is mildly overrated but Pete Middleton and James Spinney's film actually did something unique with the documentary form in order to give a blind man a cinematic vision.
