Prediction: La La Land (Mildred Iatrou Morgan, Ai-Ling Lee, Steve A. Morrow, and Andy Nelson)
Musicals always have an advantage here as, unlike the Oscars, BAFTA doesn't split the sound field into mixing and editing awards.
It's a strong field for sure (going up against Arrival, Deepwater Horizon, Fantastic Beasts and Hacksaw Ridge), but don't expect the La La Land love to shut down anytime soon.
Should It Win?: Yes, though it's fair to say that most of these nominees could win without it seeming especially out of place. Still, a musical is driven by sound more than any of the other movies, and in that regard La La Land totally nails it.
