Batman: Every Live-Action Catwoman Ranked Worst To Best
3. Zoë Kravitz - The Batman
Zoë Kravitz was easily one of the best parts of The Batman (aside from Colin Farrell as the Peguin). The actress perfectly embodies the sexiness, skill, mysteriousness, and strength of the character. Kravitz’s Catwomen felt like a well-rounded character, who knew exactly who she was and what she wanted. Although she has all the cliché femme-fatale features and characteristics, this Selina didn’t feel watered down as just a love interest for Bruce Wayne.
Past performances of the Cat have been a delight to watch, however Kravitz’s performance gave a more real and human perception of the character. Kravtiz was the first person to play Selina Kyle as an openly bisexual woman, staying true to the character in the comics. It was undeniable that Zoë was a fantastic choice for Catwoman in this gritty film.
Her chemistry with co-star Robert Pattinson was also undeniable, as the sexual tension could be cut with a knife whenever the two stars shared a scene together. Kravitz surpassed any and all expectations that fans had of her to play this iconic character, adding her own modern and intricate twist, all the while staying true to the source material.
