Batman & Harley Quinn Review: 3 Ups & 8 Downs

1. Melissa Rauch Is A Fun Harley Quinn

Batman And Harley Quinn
Warner Bros.

After the first trailer dropped for the film, Melissa Rauch's voice performance as Harley Quinn was met with almost universal disdain, but it has to be said that, in the final version of the movie, she actually does help make Harley fun and entertaining at times.

Yes, the film still is what it is, but Rauch is clearly trying to approximate Margot Robbie on crack, and for the most part she succeeds, even if her screechy voice might be a little too much for some fans.

She's certainly a good deal better than all the pre-release controversy would have you believe, nailing the character's ferocious, effervescent intensity if nothing else.
