Batman Reboot: 5 Villains Who Must Appear And Who Should Play Them

2. Hush Played By Michael C. Hall

Hush Hush is a fan favourite though he is not really known to the public as much as the likes of The Joker, The Riddler and now Bane, which is perhaps why he deserves to be a villain in the Batman reboot. He has history with Bruce Wayne, and is almost the polar opposite of his character: whilst Bruce Wayne mourns and feels guilt over the death of his parents, Thomas Elliot, the man who would later go on to be Hush, causes an accident that kills his father and causes his mother to send him off to a psych ward. When he and Bruce were young he would play a 'stratego' game in which Bruce would have to think and act like his opponents to beat them, so essentially Thomas Elliot could be an extra part to tie into Batman's origin in this reboot. Elliot later goes on to become the bandaged killer Hush, and like The Riddler, adding Hush to the mix could add an aspect of a thriller to the Batman reboot, which is the sort of new direction this new reboot needs. As for who should play Hush, look no further than Michael C. Hall, who is of course known mostly for his critically acclaimed role as serial killer Dexter. He plays an anti hero on that show due to the writing, but imagine him using his Golden Globe acting abilities to play a full fledged villain. The thought is irresistible.
