Batman: Return Of The Caped Crusaders Review - 6 Ups And 4 Downs

3. There's A Lame, Pointless Fart Joke

While the majority of the movie's humour revels in pure campiness and self-aware nods to various aspects of Batman lore, there's one really lame, out-of-place dose of toilet humour at the tail-end of the film.

As Batman and Robin are chasing The Joker, they catch up to him and tell him it's the end of the line. His response? To turn his back to them, bend over and fart in their faces before running off, cackling.

It just seems like an incredibly low-effort choice for something that's otherwise so consistently funny without needing to resort to truly childish gags like this. Lame.
