9. It Won't Be OTT
According to producer Charles Roven (in conversation with Collider) there's no way Batman V Superman will be over-stuffed, despite the multiple plot threads, the numerous character introductions, the compelling backstory holes, the unresolved plot details and everything else we don't yet know:
"I dont think thats an issue for this film at all. I really dont. I think that the film is called Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, so theres a reason its called Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice and not Dawn Of Justice: Batman V Superman. So youre gonna invest mostly in Batman v Superman and I think that youll find other characters in there that you hopefully will want to see more of".
So the focus is mostly going to be on Batman V Superman, despite the suggestions that the pair's conflict isn't even going to be all that big a deal once it emerges that Lex Luthor is the grand manipulator behind the scenes. Rating: 1/10 Yes it will be. Not matter how well it's balanced, there are just way too many elements in the ensemble to suggest it will be anything other than overblown and epic in scale. Whether Zack Snyder can relearn himself some of the restraint he showed in making Watchmen is the key to what the results are. That sentence might be the most damning thing for fanboys to have to come to terms with.
