9. Doomsday
This huge creature seemingly created by Lex Luthor in the film, and visually reminiscent of the unstoppable alien beast Doomsday from the comics infuriated a lot of fans by popping up in the second full-length trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Many thought that the introduction of this monstrous menace should have been held back to function as a surprise during the film itself. In all that online mayhem, as everyone pointed fingers at Warner Bros for giving too much away in the trailer, it seems like fans failed to notice how much potential this Doomsday-esque beast has within the DC Extended Universe. After all, in the comics he was one of the most powerful baddies that Superman ever faced. In fact, it took so much effort for Superman to stop this super-strong and almost-impervious-to-pain threat that the iconic superhero ended up dying in battle. Doomsday was so powerful that Supes had to literally fight to the last breath to defeat him. If the film follows this path, Doomsday could end up being the show-stealing star in some very high octane fight scenes. Audiences dont even know whos provided the presumably-grunting-heavy voice of Doomsday at this stage. Perhaps there will be a great performance underneath that CGI, and Doomsday could go from trailer spoiler annoyance to movie-stealing excellence.
