Rumour has it that The Hunger Games star Jena Malone has been cast as Carrie Kelley in Batman v Superman, but absolutely nothing is known about what kind of role she will have. Will she already be Robin or will this movie follow her transformation from civilian to the next person to hold the mantle as in The Dark Knight Returns? That would be a complicated and time consuming subplot to cram into this Justice League prequel though. If Carrie is going to have some sort of presence in Batman v Superman though, at least hinting at her comic book tenure as Robin would be fun for fans. "The New 52" has reintroduced her as a college student and friend to Damian Wayne who wore a Robin costume for Halloween in her first appearance. That's a little hokey in some ways, but it would at least tease her possible future as Robin in the planned solo film for Batman.
