Lex Luthor is seen in the trailers creating Doomsday out of General Zods body, but its possible he has some other science experiments on his hands too. An interview with production designer Patrick Tatopoulos hinted Lex was trying to recreate Superman from Zods body, and that experiment eventually leads to Doomsday. Superman looks uncharacteristically brutal during his smackdown with Batman, so maybe Lex switched out the real Supes with his engineered creation. Maybe Bizarro goes on a rampage that draws Batman into a fight, and somewhere along the way he evolves into the Doomsday we know and love. Theres a lot of ifs and buts in that theory, but Bizarro has been heavily rumoured to appear for awhile now, and Lex is obviously twisted enough to create an evil Superman for his own ends. The shot of Superman kneeling before Lex could really be Lex's pet experiment, awaiting his master's orders. What other major surprises do you think are in store for Batman V Superman?
