Batman V Superman: 10 Most Important Things It Has To Get Right

4. The Flash

Why specifically The Flash? Well, by the time Batman V Superman reaches the big screen, the extremely popular series will be well into its second season, and it's up to this movie to try and top that. How they will differentiate this version from the one on television remains to be seen (it could be that they decide to focus on Wally West instead of Barry Allen), but it's going to take a lot more than just a slightly different costume, that's for sure. Ezra Miller is an interesting choice, but he doesn't look different enough to Grant Gustin for the casual viewer to not assume that they're the same person. The Flash has done such a great job with both Barry and villains like Captain Cold and Reverse-Flash so far that the Scarlet Speedster's planned solo movie topping that is hard to imagine right now. That's why his introduction is so important, and Snyder needs to come up with something special. The TV series has introduced so many iconic elements, it really is difficult to think of a way that the movie can fully distinguish itself from the Fastest Man Alive's small screen adventures. Fans want to see Barry on the big screen, but Wally might be a better choice.
