Two of the greatest villains to grace the fantasy world, leaping from the pages of two phenomenal literary series to dominate the silver screen. But which is better?

Both of them known as the Dark Lord - supported by their henchmen cloaked in black and sworn to serve their master with rings and tramp stamps, but not in a sissy way - they will be locked in the greatest battle of our time, or their time, or ALL time.

Will the killing curse, Avada Kedavra, penetrate Sauron's armour? Will Sauron be armed with the One Ring? Will Sauron simply brush aside his adversary with nothing but a lazy swipe of a giant mace, or will Voldemort disappear into mist every time Sauron nears the killing blow?

All will be revealed in the epic three-parter, written and directed by Peter Jackson, assisted by J.K. Rowling, who is (wisely) not handing over all the rights just yet.
