Batman V Superman: 10 Plot Holes That Make No Sense

3. How Does Lois Lane Know That Superman Said His Mother's Name To Batman?

One of the key moments in of Batman v Superman occurs when Batman, having brought the Man of Steel to his knees in an epic showdown, decides not to kill Superman with his Kryptonite spear after hearing him say the word "Martha." Martha is Superman's mother's name, of course, but it's also Batman's mother's name, too; hearing it said out loud causes Bruce to get angry and ready to kill, but Lois suddenly appears - having somehow teleported halfway across the city - and tells Bruce that Martha is Superman's mother's name, too. So what's wrong with that, you wonder? Thing is, Lois wasn't in the room when Superman uttered the word "Martha," but somehow knows that the answer to Batman's question - "Why did you say her name!?" - is "His mother's name is Martha, too." And yet she just couldn't have understood what was happening prior to her entrance; for all Lois knew, Superman had said any old name.
