Batman V Superman: 10 Reasons Troy Baker Would Be The Perfect Joker

4. He Has A Wide Variety Of Voices

Troy Baker€™s voice acting credits are extensive; he has worked on animated films, TV series and games. He has such a versatile voice which would be an asset to The Joker€™s character. We€™ve already spoken about the need for this version of The Joker to be theatrical and full of drama. Baker€™s versatile voice would mean we could see The Joker play out his own sketches, he could imitate heroes and other high profile people, or he could simply use it to disguise himself for his criminal intentions. Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger had distinct voices; nobody can ask €œwhy so serious€ and invoke anywhere near as much fear as Heath Ledger did. Jack Nicholson€™s €œever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight€ is equally as unique. Baker has an inimitable ability to manipulate his voice, and this would give his live action version of The Joker something that ties it to Mark Hamill€™s seminal performance in The Animated Series. He could truly make the part his own through his voice alone, and he could hark back to the animated show that most of us are familiar with while simultaneously giving an original performance as we have not seen this style of Joker on screen before.
