The script for Man Of Steel wasn€™t the worst thing about the movie, although it wasn€™t amazing either. It's just hard to ignore the factthat a lot of the film€™s weaker pointscan be traced back to it. There was too many thin characters and along with a lack of emotional resonance or narrative heft to the action. And ultimately, the story simply needs to be better this time around to back up everything that's going on.

Zack Snyder is an incredible director when it comes to the visuals he puts on screen. No one is worried about Batman V Superman not having any style. People are concerned that like Man Of Steel, it won€™t have enough substance. That was a noted concernon the first film so people are going to be even less forgiving if it occurs again.

Thankfully, it€™s pretty hard to imagine that the script for Batman V Superman isn€™t leagues better than Man Of Steel. David S. Goyer is not a bad screenwriter by any stretch but bringing in Oscar-winner Chris Terrio was an incredibly smart move. He's saying all the right things so far, and speaking of his mythological influences, soit seems like a very real possibility that the script could go from a glaring weakness to one of the film's strengths.
