4. Glen Or Glenda

Widely considered one of the worst movies of all time, Glen Or Glenda might have had admirable intentions and a smart central premise, but like Batman v Superman it was made by a fundamentally challenged film-maker. And the results were similarly unintentionally hilarious in places.
It might be a little harsh to align Snyder with Ed Wood, but his commitment to anti-entertaining film-making is just as perverse as what Wood created.
Why It Did Better
It mostly comes down to cult again, and a "so bad it's good" appreciation that Batman v Superman will be denied because of the almost caustic commitment of fanboys to insist that it's still the GREATEST FILM EVER RELEASED.
The Lesson For Warner Bros
Generally, employ better directors - particularly those who aren't stoically attached to their own agenda, which then supersedes the need to establish a slate for a potentially lucrative expanded franchise.
