10. Black And Blue

Again, this refers back to a quote already seen in the trailers, as Lex Luthor is heard to say:"Black and blue. God vs. man. Day vs. night." You can hear the glee dripping from his voice as he revels in the pleasure of his plan coming off. For Luthor, the clash of black and blue is the culmination of his nefarious plot, and it's interesting to note that unlike his other parallels - "God vs man. Day vs night" - black and blue feel more like shades of the same thing (hence not being presented as "vs" in Luthor's speech.
