Batman V Superman: 18 Easter Eggs & Theories On The Soundtrack Titles
12. Do You Bleed?
How ever you might feel about Ben Affleck's Batman voice (its better than Christian Bale's already), his delivery of the line "tell me... do you bleed?" is another one of those immediately iconic moments from the trailers that sells the mythology of the heroes' clash perfectly. Presumably this song will greet the first actual fight sequence between the two, when Batman sizes his opponent up and decides he needs an improvement on his normal suit.
11. Problems Up Here
The idea of Superman being a God - whether false or legitimately needed (hence the shots in the trailers of him actually helping people) - clearly opens him up to being taken down from his pedestal. An elevated position also makes you an easier target. The film will clearly explore not only the question of responsibilities, civil duty and helping for the good of an ungrateful populus, but also pains of being a celebrity in a particularly meta fashion that follows Marvel's adoption of security anxieties into their narrative. And of course there's also the secondary meaning of having problems "up here", in anatomical sense: Lex Luthor clearly has some sort of mental instability, but it would be a rather callous way of foreshadowing it.
