3. Batman WINS
If rumours are to be believed, there will be two fights between the titular heroes of Batman v Superman before they put their differences aside and team-up with Wonder Woman to take on an even greater threat. There are many different ways that could play out, but it doesn't exactly sound all that exciting and is actually a rather run of the mill approach to the way this movie can unfold. Chances are that there isn't going to be a definitive winner (mostly to keep the movie an even sided affair and protect the reputation of both heroes as the comic books have done so many times before), but rather than copping out, there needs to be just one hero left standing. The obvious choice for that, especially if Zack Snyder is taking cues from The Dark Knight Returns, is Superman, right? Yawn. Instead, the winner in Batman v Superman should most definitely be Batman. It's fair to say that the majority of people going into this one aren't going to see that coming, especially if the Dark Knight's victory is handled in the most definitive and brutal way possible. Wearing his armoured suit, Batman should actually get to the point of killing Superman, leaving him bloodied and battered, and clearly the loser despite him having the powers advantage. This would both cement Batman as the superior fighter and completely go against what most viewers would expect to happen, making this a genuinely shocking plot development.
