It's March 25. The audience is sat in a darkened theater, chattering excitedly. Batman v Superman was incredibly awesome, and there's one more goody to go; the post-credits scene. Suddenly, the screen goes black and a cackle emanates from the stereo speakers. Jared Leto's Joker is revealed in all his cinematic glory, knife in hand, plunging it into the chest of a man tied to a chair -- Robin. There have been numerous fan theories over the months regarding Suicide Squad, and how those two characters fit into the movie. We know Robin exists in this universe, or at least in Batman v Superman, his battered uniform in the first full trailer for that movie spilling the beans. Given the amount of rampant speculation that has taken place around the Boy Wonder and The Clown Prince of Crime, Warner Bros. would be wise to address it fast, and quash any potentially spoiler-ific rumors. This aside, it would just be plain smart to start promoting Suicide Squad. No matter how successful that movie is, it will never reach the god-like heights of Bats v Supes, and pimping it at the very end of the latter movie would make even the most pop-culture absent of fans aware that it exists. What are you expecting from the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice post-credit scene? Type up your madcap theories in the comments!
Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
