Batman V Superman: 9 Things Nobody Predicted

7. Lois Lane Is The Key

Before Batman v Superman hit cinemas, we all knew that Batman would obviously be battling Superman, and also that the two would ultimately end up teaming up to take on Doomsday. Given how the plethora of trailers and TV spots had even shown Wonder Woman arriving to help out with the task at hand, many presumed that she would be the key figure in helping to tackle the Kryptonian death machine.

But no, the key all along was Lois Lane.

In fact, so key to the safety of all mankind and to the climactic moments of Batman v Superman was Lois, The Flash even found it necessary to travel back in time to give the Caped Crusader a heads up on her importance.

What was her key role here? Well, mainly just to give the Man of Steel a much-needed pep talk and arm around the shoulder whilst also being pivotal to locating the kryptonite spear that would eventually take down Doomsday.... and her importance looks like it could also well be key in what lies ahead for our Justice League-in-waiting and the resurrection of Kal-El.
