Batman V. Superman: Predicting The Entire Plot In 10 Steps
8. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor Continues To Rebuild Metropolis; Also Perceives Superman As A Negative Force
Enter Lex Luthor, an unparalleled genius in the vein of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. His company, LexCorp, stands as one of the leading technological companies in the world. Luthor, though somewhat arrogant and prone to bouts of egomania, actually wants to do some good; LexCorp has been rebuilding Metropolis in the wake of the battle that occurred during the finale of Man of Steel, and the company is looked upon favourably by the public at large. Like Batman, however, Luthor sees Superman as a threat. He blames Superman for the destruction of Metropolis, and - also like Batman - believes that the alien's presence on Earth is doomed to do more bad than good. Luthor also possesses something of a God complex, and one day strives to be the most powerful man on the planet. Luthor puts out a controversial broadcast defaming Superman as a reaction to the incident that occurred in the Middle East.
