4. Luthor Is Revealed To Have Genetically Engineered Doomsday; Batman Realises He's Made A Huge Mistake & Frees Superman

Arriving at Wayne Manor, Lois attempts to speak to Bruce. After eventually refusing, he reveals what happened with Superman and tells her that Luthor is keeping him captive. Having hacked into LexCorp to find out more about "the Doomsday project," Batman informs Lois that Luthor is playing around with genetics, and plans to use genetic information from the imprisoned Superman to create the most power super-being on Earth - one that he can control. After much persuasion, Lois convinces Batman that Superman does not pose a threat to the safety of the planet. Batman realises what he has done and mounts a plan to rescue Superman from LexCorp. After an extensive sequence that sees the Caped Crusader breaking into LexCorp - with Lois' help - Batman manages to free Superman, who is initially hostile, but soon comes around when Batman reveals to him what Luthor has been planning to do all along.
