Batman V Superman: Ranking The Characters By Anticipation

9. Mercy Graves

Similar to how Harley Quinn's introduction in Batman: The Animated Series opened the door for her to jump to the comics, so, too, did Mercy Graves make the leap after being introduced in Superman: The Animated Series in 1996. As Lex Luthor's bodyguard and assistant, she's gone on over the years to do everything from take charge of LexCorp in his stead to trying to become a hero to wash away the sins of her past with him. At the end of the day, though, Mercy has always been definable by her loyalty to Lex, and it'll be interesting to see what Tao Okamoto - who you may recognize from The Wolverine and the third season of Hannibal - brings to the table in the first big screen interpretation of the character. Like Harley, it's been neat to see how far she's come since her initial introduction, and hopefully Batman v Superman can do the intelligent, more than physically capable character justice.
