10. The Mystery Characters

There are still a few noteworthy cast members whose roles have yet to be unveiled, with intriguing questions specifically being raised over actors like Scoot McNairy, Callan Mulvey, and Jena Malone. Rumors have been swirling for months about their characters, with some of the more popular theories pegging Mulvey as KGBeast, McNairy as Jimmy Olsen, and Malone as Barbara Gordon, either as Batgirl or Oracle. In terms of the latter two, Jimmy was sorely missed from Man of Steel, so his character's inclusion would be more than welcome, and the addition of a character like Barbara would be fantastic, especially considering the one and only time audiences have seen her on the big screen was in 1997's Batman & Robin, where she was reimagined as Alfred's niece. Whether the theories turn out to be true or not, it's still worth getting excited to see the film finally lift the veil of mystery surrounding all of them.
