Batman V Superman - Ultimate Edition: 11 Ways It Improves The Original

7. More Clark Kent

One of the most significant additions in the Ultimate Edition is the greater presence of Clark Kent: he gets a ton more screen time that really boosts the character.

Firstly, his bathtub escapade with Lois early on is a little longer, then there's a scene where Clark watches the African woman who testified against him at the senate, Kahina Ziri, talk on TV about his ability to "play God".

Clark is then sent to Gotham to report on a football match, but instead attempts to locate Kahina, who is staying in Gotham. He can't find her, but her neighbours talk about her disappearance and the presence of Batman in the city.

Clark also calls Martha to talk about Jonathan Kent, and he chats briefly to the wife of the man killed in prison due to being branded with the Bat symbol.

Most of these scenes don't amount to a whole lot individually, but together they tip the balance a little more in Clark's favour (considering how much of Bruce we see in the movie), and his interaction with the dead inmate's wife (who also has a young child in tow) helps further explain his resentment of Batman.
