Batman vs Superman: 10 Casting Choices They Must Make

3. Danny Glover Is Lucius Fox

Danny Glover Morgan Freeman proved to be absolute comic gold in Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, delivering a number of the best one-liners, such as "Didn't you get the memo?" and "Good luck", so it's far from an easy role to replace. Though Danny Glover's raspy voice might just be too different from the more warm, welcoming register of the Lucius Fox we know and love, there's no doubting the man's acting talent, even if his acting has taken a considerable downturn in output in recent years. Glover is always going to be a popular actor, though, and more so than any other black actor working today, he's got the right mix of age appropriateness, charm and smarts to make it work. It'll be very different to Morgan Freeman, but that doesn't mean it's bad. This could very much be the comeback role the actor has been waiting for.
