15. Will Other Daily Planet Staffers Know Clark's Identity?

David Goyer has dropped several hints that at least Perry White, Steve Lombard, and Jenny the intern could potentially know who he is, but it isn't absolute fact yet, so don't cash the check yet. But Goyer's defense for that argument was that Superman flew down right in front of them and they all looked at him and said, "He saved us." Then he kisses Lois, and after all the dust settled he just so happened to land a job at the place his girlfriend works. Goyer's not letting the real details slip, but he seems to be making the case that Clark's secret identity will be a little more difficult to keep. Goyer has already discussed the nature of the kids Clark grew up with like Lana Lang and Pete Ross as being protective of him and his identity. To the rest of the world he would just seem like a freak, but he saved their lives and because of that they owe him theirs. So when it comes to protecting his identity, it's probably a secret they'll both take to their graves. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to think Perry, Lombard, and Jenny would see it the same way, but ultimately we'll have to wait and see if Goyer's hints lead us to the truth or were meant to lead us astray.
