14. How Will Clark Fare At the Daily Planet?

What was exciting about Man Of Steel was that, more than a Superman origin story it was also a Clark Kent origin story. The film ends with him adopting his human alter ego, not the other way around like most hero films. Because of that, the film-makers have a lot of room to play with who he will become not just as Superman but as he embraces his humanity. The Daily Planet has always been a great cover story for him, but we do know that both Batman and Lex Luthor are playing important roles in the film as well, so Clark will likely have his hands pretty full. We know that most all of the original cast will be returning, including Laurence Fishburne as Perry White so the Planet is certainly a location we hope to see them revisit. Whether or not Lombard and Jenny will reappear is up in the air until we can get confirmation of a final cast list, though it will be interesting to see how Clark balances his new life as a working class human being with his double life as Superman, not to mention dealing with an insane man dressed as a Bat who's on the hunt for you.
