13. What Will Clark And Lois' Relationship Be Like?

Man Of Steel helped give us a different kind of Lois Lane we haven't seen on the screen before. She's tough and doesn't like to play games with people, even with those in power as she so amply demonstrated in MOS by mocking the men for "measuring dicks". And as her lovely epository dialogue informed us, she's a Pulitzer Prize winning reporter. That's a fun type of personality to play with and one that could present great conflict with other powerful male characters like Bruce Wayne or Lex Luthor. Lois has always been Superman's rock. A lot of audience members had issue with him giving priority to saving her over saving the thousands of people trapped inside a toppling building, but Superman loves Lois, and she seems to feel the same. The hope would be that Snyder and his team would spend a little time exploring the dynamic of their new relationship, especially amidst the plots of Batman and Luthor, but it would seem that as of this moment there's quite a few balls in the story court. Speculating as to whether or not we'll see Clark and Lois go on a date isn't something that can really be done until we're in the theatre and the lights go down.
